Manufactured Home Install

  • Upon arrival, the home is separated from the transport vehicle to allow room to remove plastic sheathing that was to protect the open sides during transport.

  • Setting of tie-down anchors may be placed before placing the home.

  • Black sheeting is installed over the ground as a vapor barrier when a concrete slab is not in place.

  • The home is set using triangular steel piers or concrete blocks that are approved for the load bearing requirements of the home.

  • Lags and bolts are used to mate the floor and ceiling sections.

  • A water level is used to ensure that the floor is leveled.

  • Heat ducts are connected.

  • Roof sections are attached, sealed, and capped with matching roofing shingles.

  • Center end sections are sealed and bolted together with matching exterior siding material.

  • Tie down straps are fastened to ground anchors and attached to the main I-beams that run lengthwise to the floors.

Leveling

Most Manufactured Homes become unleveled when base pads are applied on poor soil conditions that are not compacted. Resulting in cracks in the marriage, line outer and inner doors binding in the door frame and skirting buckling. Concrete runners or a solid slab is recommended for any house that has drywall in the interior of the house.

Transporting

Regardless of whether you’re moving a single wide in one trip or a mult-wide in several trips, we’re ready to help you.

  • Year, Make and Model

  • Mobile Home Configurations: Are you moving a single wide, double wide or triple wide?

  • Pickup and Delivery Locations: Where is the mobile home going?  Is it going to a mobile home park, a piece of rural property, or a job site?

  • Route Planning: Heavy haul items can’t always take a direct route. Route planning is essential to protect infrastructure.

  • Is your home oversize or legal? Are the wheels and chassis road-ready?

  • Necessary Permits: We will need the right permits and moving materials. Local permits will be needed.

  • Set-up Services (See Manufactured Home Install)

  • Following Washington state rules, like day-of-the-week and time restrictions and Pilot car or  "Oversized Load" Vehicles
